The Bonnie Collection has been developed to capture and celebrate the beautiful colour scheme of the Scottish Highlands. An organic splash of Iron-Oxide over a matt white glaze creates varying shades of Orange, Yellow, Brown and Purple, typical of the heathers, thistles and shrubbery that are nestled within the mythical landscape.

We at fáilte studio celebrate the uniqueness of hand-thrown objects. We rarely use a pottery gauge, instead we use approximate dimensions from the initial designs.
Many factors can alter the shape of the object, however the most important has to be the living body. Breath, subtle changes in throwing position and organic differences in hand movements add to the unique flow of clay on the wheel.
